Interactive Modules : Forum
Common Options
Common options controls basic functionality for the forum, such as appearance, number of items per page, tool tip length, sticky elements, etc.
Sections
Sections has only one option, 'Use sections'. If set to off, all forum topics are grouped together, and do not have a visible section. This will make categorizing the forums impossible, but will simplify the layout.
Pictures
Pictures controls user interaction with avatars (pictures representing them), and where they can upload pictures from.
Notifications
Notifications controls where and for what reason notifications are sent to the administrator.
Options of SPAM prevention extension
These options effect the spam prevention system if SPAM prevention is a selected in 'Used Extensions' under common options.
RSS format export settings
These options effect the RSS system if RSS export is a selected in 'Used Extensions' under common options.
