The Poll module is used to post polls on your website that browsers can vote in.
There are two portions you should take note of when you open the poll module. The first is the item manager near the top.
Press the publish button to publish/unpublish the poll.
Delete deletes the poll.
Reset results will delete all votes on the poll.
View results will show you how many people voted for what.
The second is the visual editor in the body of the page.
The start time and end time is used to determine when the poll is shown on your site.
The question tab is used to type the question in.
The answer input fields are used to determine what answers you want. You can use the delete button next to any answer to delete the answer. The arrows next to the delete button are used to reorder the answers. There is also a picture button , which is used to add a picture to the answer.
The answers type dropdown will let you select how the answers are presented. You can have them select from a list using radio buttons, select from a list that drops down, or allow them to choose multiple choices with checkboxes.
The allow custom answer box will enable the users to create their own answer if a proper selection isn't available.
If you need room for more than 5 answers (default), click the Add answer button.
The 'Show poll in special block' checkbox indicates whether the poll is shown in the quick vote specblock.
The 'Allow voting to registered users only' is used to prevent unregistered users from voting.
