The pattern module is used to create patterns, which are pre-made blocks of content that are saved in such a way to easily allow those blocks to be inserted into your page. Bassically, patterns are great for replicating often repeated patterns.
First, log into the CMS. This will put you on the start page.

There are two modules we'll be using today, the Site Manager and the Patterns module. First we'll use the Pattern module, so click on the Patterns icon, highlited in red.
This should bring you to the pattern editor. It should look something like this:

- This is the item organizer, it allows you to open and delete patterns.
- This is the visual editor, which is used to edit the patterns.
Creating a pattern is simple. All you have to do is put any sort of content in the visual editor, make sure you give it a name, and click the add button at the bottom of the page. That will save the pattern.
At this point, just go into the Site Manager by going back to the start page, and find any page you'd like to edit. After going into the page, all you have to do is click the pattern button and select the saved pattern to paste it into any document. It's that easy!
If you need to edit the pattern, just return to the Pattern module and click the edit button to the right of the pattern in the item organizer, and it will open the pattern up to be editted in the visual editor.
