There are four types of special pages that do not have modules attached to them.

The first is the 'Print' type page. A print type page is used by the system as a template to load other pages into a print format. The print page will display the body (without header, footer, etc) of any other page that has 'Allow print version of this page' checked in the Navigation tab of the visual editor. For the print page to work properly, make sure it has a link of 'Print'. It is best to have the Print page's layout only display the body, without any additional sections, and a plain white background and printer friendly format. There is a print link at the bottom of the body of this page.

The second is the '404' type page. This is the page that is loaded when a user tries to goto a page that doesn't exist. If this page does not exist on your site, the page will load a generic '404: page not found' error instead.

The third is the 'Site-Map' type page. This page displays the entire web-site's site map. To make a page appear in the Site-Map, make sure 'Show this page in sitemap' is checked in the Navigation tab of the visual editor for that page.

The last is the 'Redirect' type page. This page isn't really a page at all, but instead redirects to another page. If the page link has a definitave address (http://yada.yada.yada), it will link to that site. If the page link has a relative link (such as 'Site-Manager-Cat/Site-Manager-Mod/Special-Pages' as is used in this page), it will link to that inner page, but since the link is relative, it will only to pages within the site. These pages are most often used to show links to other sites, inner pages that are under a different section of the site-map, and special pages in an auto generated menu. For example, if the redirect page has the 'Display in bottom menu' box checked in the Navigation tab, and the redirect is called 'Google' and links to 'http://www.google.com', then a link to Google will appear in the bottom menu.
