The first thing to learn in the site manager module is how to use the site map. It is a visual representation of the webpage's in your website. At the top of it are several tools used for manipulating the pages in your website.
Add a neighbor page (not available on home page) - This creates a new blank page using the default layout at the same level of the page being viewed. For example, if the user was editing the 'Feedback' page (represented in the full-screen screenshot above), which is located at '/Contact Me/Feedback', and they clicked the 'Add a neighbor page' button in the site map, the new page would be created as '/Contact Me/New Page'.
Add a subpage - This creates a new blank page using the default layout as a subpage of the page being viewed. For example, if the user was editing the 'Feedback' page (represented in the full-screen screenshot above), which is located at '/Contact Me/Feedback', and they clicked the 'Add a subpage' button in the site map, the new page would be created as '/Contact Me/Feedback/New Page'.
Delete page(s) (not available on home page) - This deletes the page being viewed, and any pages below it. For example, if the user was editing the 'Contact Me' page (represented in the full-screen screenshot above), which is located at '/Contact Me', and they clicked the 'Delete page(s)' button in the site map, then '/Contact Me' would be deleted, as well as '/Contact Me/Feedback', since it is a subpage of '/Contact Me'.
Move to the Top (not available on home page) - This moves the page to the top of the site map, though it will not move a page out from under a subpage position, instead just moving it to the top of it's subpage group.
Move Up (not available on home page) - This moves the page up one line on the sitemap, though it will not move a page out from under a subpage position.
Move Down (not available on home page) - This moves the page down one line on the sitemap, though it will not move a page out from under a subpage position.
Move to the Bottom (not available on home page) - This moves the page to the bottom of the site map, though it will not move a page out from under a subpage position, instead just moving it to the bottom of it's subpage group.
Group operations (not available on home page) - This opens up the group operations mode.
Reloads - This reloads the page.
Trash can - If a page's icon is clicked and dragged into the trash can, it will be deleted, along with any subpages.
Every page in the site map and your website is one of three type of pages. The page's icon represents what type of page it is. You can move a page to be a subpage of any page by clicking and dragging the page's icon in the site map on top of the page that is to be it's parent page. You can also click and drag it onto the site map toolbar's trashcan to delete it.
Static page icon - Static pages are basic content pages that are not linked to a specific module. They are entirely edited in the site manager module.
Dynamic page icon - Dynamic pages are pages that are linked to a specific module. The module-generated content is edited in the respective module, while basic content is edited in the site manager.
Link page icon - Link pages aren't actually pages, but rather, they redirect to a different page, which may lay inside the website, or outside the website.
